I’m In Love Tuesday

Today I’m in love …

… with my baby, who clutches her dolly so tightly I can see her tiny biceps bulging.

… with having so many new projects on the horizon (though it makes me tired thinking of them all).

… with the 5 minutes of quiet I’m getting while writing this post.

… with the fact that it looks like it might end up being a rainy day today.

What’re you in love with today?  Leave me a comment!

… here’s some more love for you today — Linky Love!

Minoan Oval Pulls from Anthro

This gorgeous swallow necklace I just ordered (from my distant cousin!)

Lovin’ this Hobo bag – would be a great nappy bag!

I wanna get these bookplates for my oldest daughter’s birthday

Just finished reading this book (8th in the series) by the incomparable Jacqueline Winspear (ahem, mine is a signed copy, shared with my sister, who met Ms. Winspear last month)!

Also finished reading this book – amazing.  So full if wonderful, useful information.  Even if you don’t want/can’t have/aren’t planning on having children, you should read it.  Men should read it.  The only way to stop the growing madness that is the maternal health system is to become informed and fight back!

Just ordered some of these to try – not happy with the microfiber and hemp alternatives out there, so we’ll see how this organic cotton AIO works out.  It’s almost sad that I get excited about the prospect of new diapers!

:D rool:

A shirt every baby should own.

Leave me some link love in the comments!

Apparently I took a little break from this little weekly party — oh well!

Today I’m in love…

… with a little-big boy who lost his first tooth last night.

… with a baby who kisses me all day long and wraps her arms around me so tightly.

… with a big girl who is really coming into her own — she knows who she is.

… with a bigger girl who dreams, pouts, laughs and tries.

… with this day that started out so dreary and has turned into pure golden sunshine.

Now & Later

Today I smile, because I know what my futures holds.  This day of sunshine which brings joy – the shrieking of children chasing each other – the explosion of green — this leads up to infinite days of sunshine – 8 dirty feet & 4 dirty faces – eating popsicles on the trampoline – harvesting tender vegetables – poking at bugs – chasing butterflies – more trips to the park than one can count – hanging upside down on the monkey bars – less “I can’t!” and more “I know I can!” – naps on quilts – dripping ice cream cones – seashell hunting – wave chasing – freckled noses – bbq – lemonade like Grandma makes – deliciously cold showers – falling into bed, happy, exhausted on the joy-filled days of children & summer.
